Meet your Guide, Host, & Friend 𖤓
Maryzelle Ungo is a multi-dimensional healing artist and wellness leader, weaving together music, ancestral wisdom, and somatic practices to guide people into deep states of transformation and remembrance. Based in the Bay Area, she is a full-time musician, sound healer, Reiki practitioner, yoga instructor, plant ceremonialist, DJ, drummer, and songwriter. Her entire life is an offering of creative devotion and spiritual service.
With a BA in Music from Mills College and over a decade of experience as a multi-instrumentalist, Maryzelle has toured the country with bands, composed original music, and evolved her artistry into a healing practice that nourishes the soul and regulates the nervous system. For the past five years, she has sustained herself entirely through her sound healing business—offering private sessions, group ceremonies, workshops, and performances that blend therapeutic sound, energy healing, breathwork, and ritual.
Maryzelle’s work bridges the worlds of music, medicine, and mysticism. She is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and an attuned Reiki and energy healing practitioner. Her offerings are deeply trauma-informed and culturally rooted, integrating her Salvadoran-American ancestry, earth-based wisdom, and training with Indigenous elders and mentors. She often incorporates sacred cacao and plant medicine into her ceremonies to support emotional release and heart opening.
As a wellness leader, Maryzelle is recognized in both holistic and medical communities for her impactful work. She has collaborated with hospitals, recovery centers, nonprofits, and spiritual organizations to bring sound and energy healing to underserved communities—especially BIPOC, LGBTQ+, veterans, and those healing from trauma. Her project Sound Healing for the People is committed to making somatic and ancestral healing accessible to all.
Maryzelle is also a sought-after guide for retreats, festivals, and sacred gatherings across California, offering immersive experiences that blend music, movement, and ceremony into portals of remembrance and empowerment.
